SYNOPSIS

A voyeuristic dwarf rescues a girl after witnessing her suicide attempt off a nearby bridge. Upon their return to his castle he resuscitates her with a loving kiss and bestows her with a string of pearls. What ostensibly is a budding romance concludes in an allegorical and memorable tragedy.
